Mersing

Mersing is actually a very quiet fishing town located approximately 134 kilometer away from Johor Bahru. There are not many attractions here in Mersing besides the sandy beaches. However, one of the main reasons for Mersing to be a happening town is because Mersing acts as a gateway for people who are traveling to the nearby islands. For people who are traveling to the nearby islands, Mersing is actually a perfect place for them to stock up their supplies before departing. For people who are tired and needed a break from their journey, there are plenty of hotels and resorts (Seri Malaysia Hotel and Endau Beach Resort) to choose from in Mersing. In addition to that, due to the reason where Mersing is situated nearby to the sea, the seafood there is comparatively cheaper and fresher than some other places in Johor.
