In the early days, Melaka is just a small and unnoticed fishing village located nearby at the Straits of Melaka. However, as time passes along side the changing hands of the occupants, Melaka has developed into a full fledge port under the influences of various cultures. Nowadays, although Melaka is no longer operating as a port for trading, there are still thousands and thousands of visitors coming into Melaka as Melaka is nothing less than an interesting tourism spot for the local and international tourists. There are quite a number of interesting places here in Melaka ranging from historical buildings to modern day entertainments. Most of these interesting places are situated at Malacca Town (Bandar Hilir) and some others at the Old Town, Bukit Cina and Ayer Keroh as well.
In addition to those interesting spots mentioned above, there are also many other more places to be explored in Melaka. In short, Melaka is one of the perfect spots for holidays as there are various enjoyment for the liking of the adults and as well as the children.
