Introduction
The Colours Of Nature enters its second year being organised by Borneo Highlands Resort (BHR) to show to the public the different colours of nature at the Borneo Highlands. The Colours Of Nature 2009 is conceptualised to bring flower and nature enthusiasts together, discuss common interests and cultivate the love for nature not only among the people of Sarawak but also everyone else who are interested.
August is the month where one can find the ‘Eagle Flower’ blooming in abundance. The eagle flower which is pink in colour is dubbed by our founder Tan Sri Lee Kim Yew as the ‘BHR Sakura Flower’. The event’s exhibition ground covered more than 50 acres of land and it was set in the midst of mountain greenery and forest preservation against the background of a spectacular natural landscape and scenic mountain view.
Main Objectives
The main objectives of the Colours Of Nature 2009 are to magnify area under Padawan municipality as an exclusive leisure and eco-tourism destination, including Borneo Highlands Resort and also to share our love for Mother Nature’s kaleidoscope and ideas to incorporate into our daily lives.
