| Your client,30 year old skilled carpenter was employed by his employer,Uitm pahang.He was injured fixing the roofting of the campus in Kuantan. He fell down and sustained serious injuries. as a result of the injuries to his cervival spine, he became paralyzed waist downwards and was confined to the wheel chair.His medical report indicated that his injuries were of permanent nature and that he was unlikely to walk agagin. He wants to take action for negligence against Uitm for his failure in providing safe working environment. He seeks for your advice as to the possibilities of damages he is entitled to claim from his employer |

| Well, when you crawl around on roofs, sometimes you, yourself, get careless and fall. Who's fault is that other then your own? Why is it, when people screw up, they try to blame it on someone else? Its time we take responsibility for ourselves instead of trying to find someone else to blame it on.Sorry he got hurt but no one else pushed him off the roof, it was his negligence. |

| What safety procedures could his employer have provided that would have prevented the fall. Was the employee negligent in his behavior or proceed against his employer wishes.Determine what percent of blame then project the loss of further earnings for an amount. |
