Kenong Rimba ParkAbout Kenong Rimba Park
Located at the southwest of the National Park is the place known as the Kenong Rimba Park. This 121 square kilometer natural park is indeed a picturesque valley and moreover, it is also the home to the Batek aboriginal tribe. Just like the National Park, the Kenong Rimba Park is indeed nature’s paradise as the slow flowing river, the sound of chirping birds and as well as the cascading waterfalls will surely captures the tourist’s heart. On top of all these, the Kenong Rimba Park is also the home for various peculiar plant life such as Tualang (Koompasia excelsa) which is the tallest tree in the tropical rain forest and as well as animals such as porcupine can also be found roaming around the forest.
