Kedah Map

Kedah is a state in Malaysia which is situated nearby at the northwest corner of Peninsular Malaysia. There are other states or areas surrounding Kedah, for example, to the west of Peninsular Malaysia, Kedah is being surrounded by the Straits of Malacca whereas to the north of Peninsular Malaysia, Kedah is being bounded by another state in Malaysia, which is the Perlis state. Kedah actually covers a land area of 9425 square kilometers, with 104 islands of Langkawi off Kedah’s coast. The climate here in Kedah is tropical monsoon climate, with an average annual rainfall of 2000 mm to 2500 mm. In Kedah, Alor Setar is actually the capital and main administrative center of Kedah, with an additional 11 main administrative districts which are Baling, Bandar Baharu, Kota Setar, Kuala Muda, Kubang Pasu, Kulim, Pulau Langkawi, Padang Terap, Pendang, Sik, Yan. Besides Perlis and the Straits of Malacca, Penang and Perak are another 2 of the neighbouring states surrounding Kedah.
