Getting to Labuan


Malaysia Airlines operates direct flights daily to the Federal Territory of Labuan from Kuala Lumpur and Kota Kinabalu. Indirect flights originating from Bandar Seri Begawan, Bangkok, Jakarta, Manila, Singapore and Zamboanga City are routed through Kuala Lumpur Or Kota Kinabalu.

Air-conditional ferries operate daily to Labuan From Sabah, Sarawak and Brunei Darussalam.

All of the islands off Labuan are accessible by boat, which may be chartered through local tour agencies.

Transportation around Labuan may be done by taxi. Visitors can also opt to hire self-drive cars, chartered or chauffeur-driven limousines at reasonable rates either daily, weekly or on a monthly basis.


By Air
Daily flights to Labuan are available from international gateways such as Kuala Lumpur, Kota Kinabalu and Kuching.


By Sea
Passenger ferry services are available daily at various time intervals connecting Labuan to Kota Kinabalu and Bandar Seri Begawan. A vehicle ferry also operates daily linking Labuan to Menumbok on the mainland of Sabah.
