Fraser Hill

Fraser Hill was first discovered by a group of clergymen when they were wandering around that area. Realizing the enormous potential of Fraser Hill, this group of clergymen managed to garner enough support from the local authorities to build a road connecting to Fraser Hill. In the early days, Fraser Hill was once the playground of the few selected rich miners or planters from the nearby areas. However, as time goes by, this wonderful highlands retreat soon became a very popular tourist resort and attraction. There are quite a number of activities to be enjoyed here where some of these activities include golfing (the gold course here at Fraser Hill is one of the earliest golf courses here in Malaysia), horseback riding and as well as bird watching. In addition to bird watching, each year here in the Fraser Hill, there will be an International Bird Race where the competitors will compete to see which team can sigh, identify and record the most number of birds listed on the official checklist.
