Endau Rompin ParkAbout Endau Rompin Park
Here at the 80000 hectares Endau Rompin Park, it is the home for the rainforests which has been in existence ever since one million years ago where in addition to that, it is also known as one of the world’s oldest tropical rainforests. The Endau Rompin Park is actually one of the major remaining lowland forests in Malaysia and on top of that, quite a number of exotic species including flora and fauna can be found here lying within the forest. There are quite a lot of activities to be enjoyed here where some of these activities include jungle trekking, bird watching, rafting, boating, fishing and of course, camping. For fishing enthusiast, some of the best fishing spots in Malaysia can be found at the Endau Rompin Park and on top of that, it is said that some of the fishes caught here are comparatively larger than those which are caught at other locations. Another interesting activity here at the Endau Rompin Park is the opportunity to meet with the local aborigines. These aborigines actually live in makeshifts huts located at all along the river and in addition to that, these aborigines know very well each and every corner of the forest so therefore, they can easily identify any plants they see and in fact, they do use some of the plants as medications for broken bones or mental illness.
