Cameron Highlands

So far, Cameron Highlands is Malaysia’s largest and most well known highlands destinations. Although some may not know very well, Cameron Highland was discovered by and named after William Cameron, a government surveyor who first explored the Cameron Highlands area during the year 1885. The climate here on Cameron Highlands is indeed very refreshing and cooling as the weather will not fall below 10°C nor rise above 20°C regardless whether it is day or night. Unlike Genting Highlands, there are no exciting theme parks or a casino here in Cameron Highlands. The main attractions here in Cameron Highlands are all related to the nature where for a tourist, besides being able to enjoy the cozy climate and the lush green nature, the tourist can also visit the tea plantations, vegetable farms, flower nurseries, strawberry farms, butterfly farms, golf course and of course, go on a jungle trekking activities.
