Batu Pahat

The second most well developed location after Johor Bahru is Batu Pahat, which is located at around 126 kilometer away from Johor Bahru itself. Although Batu Pahat is a fast paced and rapidly developing town, the place itself is still preserving most of the culture from the influence of Asian culture in the early days, all of this can be seen obviously on most of the buildings scattered around Batu Pahat. Batu Pahat is slowly rising nowadays and if any local people there are asked, they would definitely say that Batu Pahat is the textile capital of Malaysia. For most of the travelers on a road vehicle, Batu Pahat is always one of the best places to stop by in order to have a short break from the distant driving. Aside from all of that, there are pretty of delicacies to taste in Batu Pahat, some of these local delicacies are various types of fruits, groundnuts and many other more. Currently, all of the places around Batu Pahat are booming with more and more hotels or resorts (Sentosa Hotel, Crystal Inn Hotel and Novo Park Hotel) due to the reason where Batu Pahat is now one of the preferred places as a conference venue or regional business center.
