About Negeri Sembilan

Negeri Sembilan is a state in Peninsular Malaysia where the Negeri Sembilan state is actually located to the south of Kuala Lumpur on the western coast. Within a land area of 6645 square kilometer, this middle sized state has a population count of roughly 879000 people and counting.

The capital state of Negeri Sembilan is none other than the main district which is known as Seremban. Besides having Seremban as the capital state, Negeri Sembilan also has Seri Menanti serving as the royal capital. Aside from Seremban and Seri Menanti, the Negeri Sembilan state actually has another 6 main administrative districts where these districts are generally known as Jelebu, Jempol, Kuala Pilah, Port Dickson, Rembau and Tampin. Ever since the early days, the main economy of the Negeri Sembilan state depends solely on agriculture. However, with the extension of several new industrials area in several locations, the effort of the state government trying to promote the industrial sector has boosted the growth of the manufacturing sector in the Negeri Sembilan state. Some of the main manufacturing activities include textiles, furniture, electronics (semiconductors and others), machinery, metalwork (ball bearings and others) and as well as rubber products.

The Negeri Sembilan state is a quiet and less hectic state when compared to other states like Johor or Penang. However, despite this reason, the people in Negeri Sembilan are still warm and friendly. Moreover, although Negeri Sembilan is not an extremely popular state like Penang or Kuala Lumpur, Negeri Sembilan is still a wonderful state to visit because there are still various interesting places to visit here in Negeri Sembilan. In addition to that, there are various tasty local delicacies here in Negeri Sembilan where some of these delicacies include the ever popular Seremban Style Toast Bun, Grilled Crabs and as well as ox noodles.

All in all, Negeri Sembilan is a state worth visiting here in Malaysia because aside from having a relatively good economy structure, Negeri Sembilan also has various interesting places for the travelers to visit.
